Many of you will probably remember the days when the only way to start a successful home business was to join some sort of multi-level marketing program or sell makeup at parties. In those days, people would have to buy a membership in the ‘program’ along with an inventory of sample products that they would then sell to friends and coworkers at ‘parties.’ Most people were not very successful at this and made very little money and usually alienated their friends and family. Wholesale drop shipping is when a wholesale distributor or manufacturer agrees to send out single unit products to customers for a retailer. Many will also even include the retailers name on the invoice so that the customer is never even aware that they got it from anyone else but the retailer. This, along with the Internet has changed the whole dynamics of home businesses in America, making it easier and more cost effective to start your own business.

Home business owners are now able to launch a business without purchasing any inventory up front and are able to open a ‘store’ without ever having to find a place to setup shop. As a matter of fact, according to eBay over forty thousand people make their full time living on their auction site alone; many of these are using drop shipping as their main method of product fulfillment.

The only problem for today’s small business owner is how to find wholesalers to drop ship. In general wholesale distributors don’t make it a habit of getting out there and advertising; obviously the whole reason they are in wholesale and not retail is to get away from doing all of that work. So it makes it very difficult for someone who has little or no business experience to make contacts with distributors when they aren’t even sure where to start looking.

To help out those small business owners I’d like to offer some advice for finding wholesale distributors:

Look for trade organizations and magazines to help you make contacts. Many trade organizations out their produce some sort of listings of their members, many of whom may drop ship.

Contact manufacturers. People don’t realize that if you call the manufacturer they will provide you with a list of their distributors; so if you are looking for a particular product, ask the manufacturer. The down side of this route is that they may have hundreds of distributors that you may have to contact before you find one that is willing to drop ship.

Find wholesale chat rooms and message boards. There are many message boards on the Internet today that are devoted to a wide range of discussions. You may find boards on wholesale, distribution, supply chain, etc. All of these may lead you in the direction of a wholesale distributor.

However, if you want to get up and running fast, or just don’t have the time to go on a search for wholesale distributors much less ones that drop ship, then the way to go is drop ship directories. These are usually pay services that search out drop shippers for you then give you access to their contacts; there are many of these on the Internet today, and many are very good. As with anything on the Internet you must be very careful of the scams out there. Many drop ship directories will end up giving you an outdated list of wholesalers, or when you contact them you will find that they are a true wholesale distributor but they do not drop ship.

Here are some pieces of advice when looking for a quality drop ship directory:

Stay away from the cheap ones! Obviously with everything else in this world you will get what you pay for. If you find one out their for three dollars, you probably are not going to get a good product. In general the one’s that offer the best information are charging $60 or more for a six month membership.

Look for one’s that will do specialty searches! If you get into a drop ship directory and find that they do not have any products that you would like to sell, or think you can sell, then make sure they will go out and find it for you. If they do not do specialty searches then you will end up being stuck with whatever listings they have no matter what.
Find one with a Satisfaction Guarantee! There are several drop ship directories out there that offer a guarantee that all of their listings are true drop shippers, but in my opinion this is not enough. If you get into their directory and find that they have five hundred listings for widget suppliers and they are all real wholesalers you are out your money and only have access to one product. Make sure they guarantee your satisfaction with their product no matter what, especially if you are going to shell out seventy dollars of your hard earned money.

Look for ones that are going to help you out as well, not just give you a list. Do they offer articles and help material on starting your business or are all they just going to give you listings and nothing else.

However you choose to find wholesale drop shipping, keep in mind that as with anything else in this world knowledge is power. Try and find out as much as you can before you jump in to get your feet wet. It will make your startup smoother and help you get the profitability stage much faster.

In this post I’m going to talk about one such tool, Firepow blogging software reviews ,because I believe it might just be a cut above the rest in terms of it’s flexibility of use, and overall effectiveness in accomplishing the three primary aims of blogging – creating a blog, managing it or maintaining it, and getting traffic to it.

structure for SEO, and more.

Before even getting into the Wordpress panel of the site Firepow creates you’ve also got a site management tab where all your blogs can be managed from one place, an SEO tracking tool to monitor the search rankings of all your sites, and a task manager
that tells you what needs to be done to maintain your blog/s and when.

I dare say though that the best things happen once you’re actually IN the blog.

Here you have crazy abilities to make your post content better, easily being able to add relevant images, videos, or trackbacks (automatically building backlinks to your site) to your posts… and even that’s leaving alot out.

OR the crazy abilities to monitor your blogs success, like being able to split test the results of different posts, monitor your traffic through in depth reporting (utilizing Google analytics), monitoring your search spider activity, the popularity of your posts, the terms people are searching on your site, and more still.

I feel like I’m getting too salesy in this post to you but I can assure even with everything you’ve read here, I haven’t even really touched the surface of what’s going on inside this thing called Firepow – heck we didn’t even get to the promotional tools.

When your computer becomes infected by spyware, one of the first signs that you will notice is degraded performance. Outlook express is far from blame free – in fact, this is a second main path of infection. Most Windows users rely on Outlook Express to read their emails. These emails can become infected with malware. Within Outlook Express, the Internet Explorer is used to display the email messages. This means that many of the weaknesses of IE can be exploited within emails – a risk that most internet users are unaware of.

Finally, there are the risks posed by the setup of Windows itself. By default, the computer user is a fully authorised system administrator. These means that the user can configure any setting on the computer. However, this also means that any program that the user runs can do the same. So, when the spyware is run, it can easily take control of the computer and change all of the most secure settings with ease.

As you can see, in its standards configuration, windows is quite insecure.

So, with all these different threats, I’m sure you will agree that there is a real need to protect yourself against the spyware that is out there. We’ve seen how spyware can harm your computer’s performance, reduce its security settings, and what weaknesses in your system make it possible to get infected with spyware to start with. Luckily, there sis special anti-spyware software that you can install to clean up your computer and prevent infections in the future. Spyware is a fairly recent phenomenon, and it does not have a long and detailed history. In 2000, a company called Zone Labs released an updated version of their popular firewall program, known as Zone Alert. In a press release describing the software, the term Spyware was used for the first time. By 2005, 62% of all Internet users have become infected. But what is the nature of the threat? What does the spyware actually do?

Well, firstly, it is possible to design the spyware to help commit identity theft! The spyware can extract personal information from your computer, and send it on to another computer where it will allow someone to steal your identity, and act in your name.

Also, it allows people to steal your credit card details. It is very easy for a program to recognise the exact pattern of a credit card being typed in – it can then collect all the accompanying data, such as name, address and security code. This can then be used by a hacker to make purchases that you will be left having to pay for.

Finally, spyware can be used to install dialers on your computer. These are evil programs that force your computer to connect to the Internet over a premium rate or international phone line – extorting you for huge sums of money through your phone bill! This threat is rarer due to the widespread use of broadband, but it still exists!

So, as you can see, there are some very real threats posed by adware. Not all adware is this dangerous – some is quite “benign” by comparison. This is the software that spies on you and then “helps” you by showing you “useful” adverts.

Most of this advertising is actually extremely annoying. It usually takes the form of pop-ups, which may appear every minute or so, or when you open a new window, or when you click a link. Sometimes it appears even when you are not connected to the Internet!

Some of these ads can be extremely offensive or inappropriate – such as child pornography, or illegal software cracks. This can be extremely upsetting for end users, especially on a home computer.

Finally, there is parasitic advertising, where adverts on a web site are replaced by adverts belonging to the spyware designer. This can cause problems to the website owners, who are denied income from advertisers. But it can also cause a problem for you, as you are shown adverts that appear to be from reputable companies, but are not.

So, as you can see, spyware is a massive pain in the butt. We’ve looked at the rapid growth of spyware infection, how it threatens you personally, and how it can make your computer hell to use with constant ads bombarding it. Given these threats, I suggest that you check out some spyware software review on the Internet to see what you can do about it!

There are security tools, such as a spyware bot that you can use to clean up your computer. This can be a considerable help, because the spyware removing process can be nearly impossibly complicated when it is done by hand!
